Céilí Community are excited to announce a new 9-month course starting on September 2024. We are pleased to throw our doors wide-open in welcome and hospitality to those who are or aspire to be Spirit-filled evangelizers. We seek those with a personal heart-felt call to work with our community, as we respond to the invitations of Catholic parishes throughout Ireland to help them along the path from a maintenance to a missionary mode. And all in the name of Jesus, in the power of the Holy Spirit, to the glory of God, the Father. Amen.
In response to this renewed and impassioned plea from Pope Francis and The Church, we in Céilí Catholic Community have always put great emphasis on offering our community members and others, who have a heart for evangelization, the necessary formation and training both spiritual and practical to answer that call.
A Fresh Dynamic Spirit-Filled Course!
I hope that all communities will devote the necessary effort to advancing along the path of a pastoral and missionary conversion which cannot leave things as they presently are…. throughout the world, let us be ‘permanently in a state of mission’…. I dream of a ‘missionary option’, that is a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times of schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation. Course Information
Tutorial Help and Spiritual Direction will be given to all the participants in the course. The formation course will be run in the context of a prayerful environment within the Céilí Catholic Community.
Course Numbers: A maximum intake of 15 is envisaged so as to facilitate group processes and the placement of participants. The course is also subject to a minimum number of applicants.
Course Fee: Includes accommodation, food, lectures, tutorials, outings. Prospective applicants would be expected to pay some fees. Considerations will be given to suitable candidates who cannot afford the full fee.
Certification: This course is approved and supported by the Bishop of the Diocese of Meath, Rev. Dr. Tom Deenihan.
